Designed by architects as standard
Börje Lundquist and Jenny Bentzer represent two generations of house designers at VärsåsVillan. Börje has been designing small houses for VärsåsVillan for more than 20 years, while Jenny’s youthful enthusiasm and innovative ideas neatly complement Börje’s years of experience. Both are deeply interested in shape and interior design. And both share the VärsåsVillan philosophy on houses: VärsåsVillan is to create houses with plenty of light and space, combined with modern and functional design solutions.
We place great emphasis on creating customised houses. Whereas others are content simply to deliver standardised catalogue houses, we aim to do a little more. Designed by architects as standard, you could say …
Today, our lifestyle is reflected in the way we live. Today, we all want functional kitchens – ideally with a cooking island – with a separate eating area for both everyday use and entertaining. Large living rooms are also on the agenda, ideally comprising a get-together area and a home cinema section. Other requirements include lots of windows for light and contact with the outdoors, and large bathrooms that can be designed to suit individual tastes, often involving corner tubs and saunas. All these requirements form our starting point when we work to create better residences.
It is one thing to sketch out good housing ideas; but it is quite another to make good houses available to ordinary people. In fact, it demands hard work, skill and a good deal of experience. Once the fundamental ideas are in place, the VärsåsVillan design team takes over with a single clear goal: to implement neat design solutions while avoiding unnecessary costs. In other words, to create economical houses without compromising on quality, aesthetics and an eye for detail.
And to work with skilled craftsmen to provide not just walls, floors and ceilings, but – as we say – a better way to live.
